Elegant Silvery Fountain of Plumes
White Fountain Grass is a graceful clumping ornamental grass prized for its elegant arching foliage and showy bottle-brush-like plumes. From mid to late summer through fall and into winter it produces abundant silvery-white to pinkish-white flower spikes that cascade beautifully creating fountain-like effect. The fine-textured bright green foliage forms dense rounded mounds and transitions to attractive golden-yellow tones in autumn.
